7th Grade your Africa maps are due on Thursday!  Today in class we worked on locating Africa's major river systems, mountains, and deserts and completed the vocab. for 11-1.

8th Grade 9-21-12

Your U.S. States test is next Wednesday.  Please make sure you are studying.  You have known about this since the first week of school.  Use the map games on this blog they really do help.

9-11-12  7th Grade

Today you worked on creating a 9-11 comic strip.
-5-7 frames
-The events that took place
-The people involved- police, firefighters, soldiers, all Americans
- The emotion involved

—Select any culture as long as it’s not your own

—Identify 5 cultural traits of the group.

—Turn this information into a 7 sentence paragraph about that cultural group.

—You must use all ICMS conventions and proper paragraph structure.

8-14-12  8th Grade

Today you learned about primary and secondary sources as well as how to identify bias, reliability, and authenticity.

HW- Find and bring in one piece of writing that contains bias.

8-13-12  7th Grade

Today you worked on your study guides.  The test for chapter 1 is on Wednesday.
